We provide more than just equipment hire. Our experienced operators understand cultural heritage fieldwork and the requirements of working alongside archaeologists and Traditional Owners. From excavators and powered sieves to survey equipment and site amenities, we can coordinate the equipment and operators your project needs through one supplier.
Excavators and operators
A 3.5 tonne and a 5.5 tonne machine, both running 1 x 1 metre mud buckets for controlled scrapes. Our operators are cultural heritage specialists rather than general plant operators, highly experienced across complex testing, extent testing and salvage, and they work to the archaeologist’s direction.
DGPS and survey
RTK rovers and base stations accurate to the centimetre, for trench setout and artefact recording on MGA2020, with data exported to your format at the end of each day.
Fencing and site protection
Temporary 2.4 metre panel fence, star pickets and para-webbing to hold an exclusion zone properly, with exclusion signage and a delivery window that suits the job.
Site amenities
Portable toilets and handwashing facilities supplied directly to site, with delivery, setup and regular servicing arranged to suit your fieldwork schedule.
